Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know

Get answers to common questions about Phoenix Forum membership.

What are the requirements to join Phoenix Forum?

To qualify for Phoenix Forum, you must have at least 1 year of continuous sobriety and your business must generate $1M+ in annual revenue. These criteria ensure all members share similar challenges and can provide meaningful peer support.

You need a willingness to be vulnerable and share things you are struggling with that you wouldn’t share elsewhere.

There is a six month minimum commitment and a promise to make at least five of the first six meetings. It then changes to month-to-month with a 30 day cancellation.

Phoenix Forum combines the accountability of a peer advisory board with the understanding of a recovery community. Unlike traditional masterminds, we address both business challenges AND the unique struggles of maintaining sobriety while building wealth—topics that can feel ‘too good’ for traditional 12-step rooms.

Each 2-hour monthly session includes two parts: First, all members share their top 5% and bottom 5% from the month—both celebrations and challenges. Each member can use this time to pose a “keeping me up at night” question and get feedback from the group. After this session, one member takes a spotlight to deep-dive into their life story and current business challenges, receiving focused support from the group.

We intentionally keep the group small to ensure deep, meaningful connections. With only 10 members, everyone gets significant attention during sessions, and the trust and vulnerability required for transformation can develop more quickly.

After submitting your application, you’ll be redirected to an interview call. This helps us understand your goals and ensure Phoenix Forum is the right fit for your journey. If accepted, you’ll be invited to the group after signing NDA and other formalities

We understand that business demands can occasionally conflict with our schedule. Our member pledge asks that all members commit to making at least 5 of the 6 meetings, and give full attention during our sessions.

Refunds will not be issued for missed sessions.

Absolutely. Confidentiality is foundational to Phoenix Forum. What’s shared in the group stays in the group. This allows members to be fully vulnerable about both their recovery journey and business challenges without concern. All members sign NDA’s before getting a link to the Zoom meeting

(Some members have the same category) Tech, Insurance, Health, Education, Real Estate, Staffing. Finance, Construction, Nonprofit.

No. These sessions are intentionally not recorded and note takers are not permitted in the room. You can discuss one on one outside the meeting with other members who can share THEIR struggles / takeaways, but cannot under any circumstances discuss anything anyone else said.

While we are specifically designed for entrepreneurs in recovery, we focus on the person as a whole and incorporate recovery into our solutions. There is the common bond of overcoming addiction to where you can say things like “I used to wake up on the side of the street from a blackout, these are good problems I get to have today.”
